Spoon Carving Workshop: veterans and first responders

Learn to carve a spoon from a piece of locally salvaged wood. It’s not just about spoons however.

In addition to learning and practicing technical spoon carving skills, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in mindful and purposeful movement, slowing and focusing of your attention and connecting with other participants socially. This workshop is conducted outdoors in a local park.

Morning tea and all equipment is provided. No experience necessary. Aimed at the beginner level.
